Upgrade to the Nilfisk MC 4M 160/620 When You Want Nilfisk Power for the Full Commercial Day

The Nilfisk MC 4M 160/620 is built for small businesses that need a portable pressure washer that can genuinely keep pace with a full working day. Delivering 2320psi (160 bar) at 620 L/hr and rated for up to four hours of daily use, it's the natural step up from lighter semi-professional machines for tradesmen, garages, small farms, and building companies.

A professional 1450rpm motor pump with brass head, ceramic-coated pistons, and a dedicated oil tank keeps the pump protected and maintenance straightforward over years of commercial use. Larger 250mm wheels, an aluminium lifting bar, foam sprayer, 4-in-1 nozzle, and 2.5L detergent canister are all included — unbox it and get straight to work.

Key Benefits & Features of the Nilfisk MC 4M 160/620

  • 160 bar at 620 L/hr from a standard 10AMP outlet — Serious cleaning pressure without three-phase power, cutting through grease, grime, and heavy soiling on vehicles, equipment, and hard surfaces with ease.

  • Rated for up to 4 hours of daily commercial use — Four times the daily run time of the MC 2C, built to keep pace with a full working day on site without stopping.

  • Professional 1450rpm motor pump with brass head and ceramic-coated pistons — A slow-speed, low-heat pump design built for sustained commercial use, delivering a longer service life and lower maintenance costs compared to high-revving alternatives.

  • External foam sprayer system with 2.5L detergent canister — The removable external foam sprayer gives you full freedom of movement when applying detergent, pre-soaking heavily soiled surfaces before blasting for a faster, more effective clean every time.

  • 250mm wheels, aluminium lifting bar, and robust transport design — Moves confidently across rough ground, steps, and uneven surfaces on site, so getting the machine where it needs to be is never the hard part

Who Is the Nilfisk MC 4M Pressure Washer Built For?

The MC 4M 160/620 is designed for light-to-medium intensity commercial cleaning — the sweet spot between a compact semi-professional machine and a full industrial setup.

  • Tradesmen and small building companies — Four hours of daily run time and 160 bar of pressure make it genuinely capable on construction sites, handling equipment clean-down, vehicle wash-offs, and surface preparation without breaking a sweat.

  • Small garages and automotive workshops — More than enough pressure to cut through grease, oil, and road grime on vehicles and workshop floors, with a run time that covers a full morning of commercial work without needing to stop.

  • Small-to-medium farms — Handles tractors, implements, sheds, and animal housing clean-ups with the durability and daily run time that agricultural environments demand. Runs off a standard single-phase power supply — no three-phase required.

  • Rental businesses — Robust build quality, easy maintenance access, and straightforward controls make it a reliable rental fleet machine that holds up to multiple operators and demanding hire conditions.

Compare the Pair: Nilfisk MC 4M 160/620 vs Nilfisk MC 2C 120/520 XT

  • Pressure and daily use — The MC 4M 160/620 delivers 160 bar and is rated for up to 4 hours of daily use — built for operators who need sustained commercial performance across a full working day. The MC 2C 120/520 XT delivers 120 bar with a 1-hour daily rating, making it the right fit for lighter, routine cleaning tasks rather than sustained commercial use.

  • Pump technology and longevity — The MC 4M runs a 1450rpm motor pump with a brass head, ceramic-coated pistons, and a dedicated oil tank with sight glass — a more robust, lower-revving setup built for longer daily run times and harder applications. The MC 2C uses a 2800rpm axial pump well suited to light routine use but not designed for the same sustained commercial demands.

  • Size, weight, and transport — The MC 4M weighs 41kg on a robust platform with 250mm wheels and an aluminium lifting bar for confident movement across rough ground and steps on site. The MC 2C at 28kg is the lighter, more portable option — easier to carry and load, but not as capable over rough terrain or demanding transport conditions.
